Rewire

Rewire is a project funded through the National Lottery Reaching Communities Partnership Fund and is designed to support local children, families & the wider community in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Rewire offers both targeted and open access community services aimed
at building community resilience to enhance the wellbeing of local people. The project is delivered across multiple sites in Smethwick & 
Oldbury and offers various interventions to children and families, these include:

  • Nature based therapy

  • Child & adult counselling

  • Family support services

  • Youth clubs

  • Weekend activities for families & children

As part of the Rewire project Breathing Space is delivering a Wellness through the Wilderness provision, offering therapeutic intervention to children and families within the borough of Sandwell. The provision consists of targeted delivery within Primary schools and open access weekend activities. Our weekend activities can be attended by families within Sandwell and are free to attend.
